Laura J. Wendlandt

Therapeutic Optometrist

Dr. Laura Wendlandt is a Minnesota native who could not handle the cold winters and has found out she loves the culture that San Antonio has to offer. She received her undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University and her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University in 2003. Shortly after she moved to Texas she married a native Texan. The two of them are proud parents of a nine-year-old son and six-year-old daughter.

When not busy with swim meets or dance classes, Dr. Laura enjoys working out and traveling. She loves football and roots for the NDSU Bison and Minnesota Vikings. She has been part of the Vision Source team for six years because she has a passion for helping people with their vision and medical problems. In those years she has enjoyed getting to know her patients, and she looks forward to meeting and helping many more.

She brings to The Vision Source the expertise of working at a refractive surgery center and looks forward to sharing her knowledge with her patients. Bring in the entire family for a yearly eye examination.
